Today’s strong female is Abbess Hildegard of Bingen (b. 1098 A.D., d. 17 Sep 1179).
Why is she strong?
She was an abbess, mystic, visionary, (quite literally had and recorded visions,) and wrote on scientific and medical topics. She also wrote a play, penned music, and invented her own script. Did I mention she did this in the early to mid Middle ages when it was very difficult for women to be accomplished publicly?
Keep it civil, people.
