Today’s Strong Female is Pharaoh Hatshepsut (b. circa 1508 BC, d. 1458 BC).
Why is she strong?
For starters, she was a Pharaoh in ancient Egypt, when many women were more regents than rulers. She also established trade routes and funded several large building projects. We are fortunate to know about her at all, as about 20 years after her death several of her obelisks and prominent statues were demolished.
Keep it civil, people.
Open question for the readers: do you have a strong female whom you would like me to draw? Why is she strong? Let me know in the comments!
